Our Mission

Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Orange County (YNPN OC) provides social and professional resources that support the nonprofit sector and promote success in career development for emerging professionals.

Our History

From its beginning in 1997 as an informal gathering of peers in San Francisco, YNPN has grown to become one of the nation's largest associations of nonprofit practitioners. To better serve this growing national network and provide infrastructure for local chapters across the country, YNPN National incorporated as an independent, national 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2004. YNPN National provides support and resources for local YNPN networks through leadership development, networking and advocacy activities.

YNPN OC was founded in late 2013 by Rebecca Tankersley.
